Job Opening: Business Development Manager - Virtual Position

We are a small but well established and fast-growing lead generation company based out of British Columbia looking for a sales superstar to head up new business development. We are a leader in the debt lead generation space, providing high quality, real-time internet leads to Canadian and UK debt relief companies (with plans to expand into the US and Australia in the future). Our leads are generated entirely in-house so we can maintain the highest standards in lead quality. Your job will be to accelerate the growth of our business by getting our leads into the hands of the companies that need them which will, in turn, help thousands of people become debt free.

This is a unique opportunity since our company operates virtually, meaning our staff work from home offices. For that reason you must be set up to work remotely and have an environment that is conducive to focussed work without interruptions or distractions. You must also be very goal-oriented with the ability to produce outstanding results without close supervision. Compensation will be very competitive for the right candidate and will be based on a combination of salary and commission.

Key Responsibilities. You Will:

  • Source new potential clients through our proven in-house methods and your own techniques/contacts.
  • Build and maintain relationships with new and existing clients.
  • Contact and close new potential clients via phone and email communication.
  • Follow up with and convert warm leads produced by our in-house marketing team.
  • Provide daily and weekly reports of business development activity.
  • Develop promotional material for use in sales presentations.
  • Monitor campaign performance and suggest ways for our clients to maximize their success with our leads.
  • Communicate daily lead volume requirements to our marketing team.
  • Provide world class support to our clients.

Qualifications. You Must:

  • Have had prior experience selling leads or online marketing services.
  • Thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced and rapidly growing company.
  • Never make promises that our company can't deliver on to win a sale. We believe that reputation is everything.
  • Have a proven sales track record.
  • Be proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Outlook).
  • Have outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • Be an excellent researcher with the ability to sniff out every last possible prospect in the markets we operate.
  • Be highly motivated and self-directed with the ability to achieve outstanding results and the desire to always advance to the next level.

Assets (Not Required, But Good To Have). You Have:

  • Experience selling internet leads in the debt vertical.
  • Knowledge of the Canadian, US, UK or Australian debt markets.
  • Experience working from a home office.
  • A contact list of potential clients in the debt settlement industry (this would be considered a very strong asset).
  • A Bachelor's degree (however, work experience will also be strongly taken into consideration).
  • Experience utilizing SalesForce or other sales based CRM.
